Princess Beatrice graduates in style

Monday September 12, 2011

With her parents watching proudly, Princess Beatrice celebrated earning a 2:1 degree from Goldsmiths College in London.

The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York had spent three years studying history and the history of ideas.

Diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of six, the royal has had to work extra hard at her academic endeavours, which accounts for the family's delighted smiles last week.

Her delighted mum and dad said: "We are both incredibly porud of Beatrice and the hard work she put in to achieve such excellent results."

A palace spokesman said 21-year-old Bea planned to take up internships in business and philanthropy.
