The Kids Are Alright actor Mark Ruffalo has joked that he was "upstaged" by Gwyneth Paltrow in latest movie Thanks For Sharing.
In the flick, Gwyneth bares her body as Mark's character's love interest.
Although their movie contains some rather raunchy scenes, the pair felt comfortable thanks to their strong friendship.
Mark, 44, said: "We felt really comfortable with each other, which makes it easy."
The actor also confessed that he had no qualms about showing off his body.
He said: "I was raised in a household that was very kind of accepting of sex. I mean, it wasn't outrageous or gratuitous, but we were taught to be comfortable with our bodies, and there was no innate kind of Christian-Judeo projection of shame onto sexuality."
He added: "I never really had an agenda about it, honestly, but it's true that I've been in a lot of movies that deal with it in one way or another.
"But look, this is the base of mankind, this is what keeps us going and sells products and makes us decide we're going to try to spend our life with somebody and populate the world."
The pair have previously acted together in the hit superhero action film The Avengers.
