Media mogul Simon Cowell has dismissed reports that he has suffered from a nervous breakdown.
Speaking on ITV 1 show Daybreak, Simon admitted that although he we juggling a hectic schedule, he was able to handle it.
He said: "Reports of my, whatever it was, are a little exaggerated."
"I did turn off my phone for six weeks, because you know I had a lot going on."
He added: "I would do it again next year. Just switch off, yeah, switch off for six weeks, concentrate on all the things that are important, and you don't get all these crazy text messages and stuff."
The rumours of Simon's difficulty emerged when an unofficial biographer, Tom Bower, reported that the judge's work and personal commitments had taken their toll, leading him to withdraw from the US X Factor auditions and turn into a "weird vampire".
