Miley Cyrus has spoken about her role as a feminist and her recent controversial performances.
"I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists in the world because I tell women to not be scared of anything," she told BBC's Radio One on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old Wrecking Ball singer said she believes there is a double standard when it comes to men and women and body image.
The Disney child star also said that her on-stage persona and revealing outfits were all part of her act.
"I don't actually walk around all day twerking with my tongue out dressed as a teddy bear," she said.
The songstress, who has come under fire in recent weeks for her raunchy performances and photoshoots, said she didn't worry if people thought badly of her controversial acts because she knows she is a "good person".
