Actor and political activist Corin Redgrave received a raucous send-off as he was laid to rest on Monday.
Family and friends were heard shouting "Bravo!" as his wicker coffin was taken from St Paul's Church in Covent Garden.
Among the many actors who turned out to pay their last respects were his sisters Vanessa Redgrave and Lynn Redgrave, his daughter Jemma Redgrave, his widow Kika Markham and friends Sir Ian McKellen and Simon Callow.
At the service, glamorous Vanessa read from Shakespeare's Antony And Cleopatra while Jemma - his daughter from his first marriage to Deirdre Hamilton-Hill - read a passage from Chekhov's Uncle Vanya.
