Jack White and Karen Elson are planning to celebrate their divorce - with a party.
The rocker and his British model-singer wife announced last week that they are splitting up on their sixth wedding anniversary.
But rather than mourning the demise of their marriage, they are planning to celebrate it with a party described as a "positive swing bang hum dinger".
The event invitation asks close friends and family: "Please help us celebrate this anniversary of the making and breaking of the sacred union of marriage with our best friends and animals."
Jack and Karen, who tied the knot on a canoe on the Amazon, have two children - five-year-old Scarlett and Henry Lee, three.
In a statement confirming the split, they said: "We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children, Scarlett and Henry Lee."
It's the second split of the year for the former White Stripes frontman, who announced the group - comprised of Jack and his ex-wife Meg White - were calling it quits in February.
