Jackie Chan is working on a musical about his life, based on his best-selling memoir.
The action film star is currently writing a stage adaptation of I Am Jackie Chan: My Life In Action, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He said: "We are looking for a director for the musical right now. It's all very exciting."
Jackie revealed that he would provide the voice of the narrator, explaining the plot as it develops. The show will focus on his formative years, performing acrobatics with the child group Little Fortunes and his competition with Bruce Lee.
The intimate story will also include sections of his parent’s lives, his time at the Peking Opera School and his eventual success and fame through music-
The Rush Hour star is also rumoured to be working on a follow up to his 1998 autobiography which will be called I Am Still Jackie Chan.
