Roger Daltrey has been praising Prince Charles' backing of complementary medicines, revealing that homeopathy saved the life of his son.
The former Who rocker made his remarks as guest speaker at an event at the Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health. He told how he and his wife were left in despair when their then eight-month-old boy Jamie developed an intestinal problem which had doctors baffled.
"I was aware of homeopaths, but I thought where do I find one and I had to look in Yellow Pages," the 65-year-old musician recalled."He prescribed some powders and within two days my son was keeping food down and within two weeks he was starting to put on weight and come back to life."
The singer went on to take advantage of the heir to the throne's presence in the audience to offer support and spur him on.
"I think the work Charles is doing is amazing. He takes it on the chin, he's his own man," he said, before jokingly advising: "Don't let the b*****ds grind you down!"
