Melanie Brown swapped her Hollywood lifestyle for a week on a rundown Leeds estate.
The former Spice Girl returned to her roots for a reality TV show, in which she'll live on £120 for seven days.
In the programme 7 Days On The Breadline, she was left to care for local resident Elaine Henry's five children.
Her daily routine involved going to the benefits shop, trips to the laundrette and playing with the kids.
She is thought to have spent most of the cash in the first few days, doing up the rundown terrace and giving her new home a lick of paint.
The extrovert performer – who has three children of her own – was far from put out by the change of environment.
"It may be raining but I still love being here" she tweeted.
