DJ Chris Moyles has hung up his headphones and bid farewell to his breakfast slot on Radio 1.
The Chris Moyles Show has been broadcast on the station for eight years.
Bidding a fond farewell to the landmark show, Chris described his success at the station as a "weird victory".
He said: "(The show) is some weird victory after all the flak we've taken."
"We just got through all of it and here we all are celebrating us and I'm really proud."
He added: "Thank you to everyone who has listened and supported us."
His fellow Radio 1 colleague Sara Cox also sent her regards.
She said: "I’m going to miss you…you’ve been there through three kids and a divorce.
"For lots of people you’ve been there for their own journeys."
Fellow Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw will be taking over the primetime breakfast slot.
