She's won the nation's heart with her cheery gusto as an unlikely contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
But Ann Widdecombe faces a tough time ahead after her brother Malcolm passed away earlier this week.
The retired Anglican priest had been battling cancer and died at his home in Bristol just two days after his sister visited him.
The ex politician is determined to continue dancing though.
A show source said: "Ann is being a stoic. One of Malcolm's last acts of consciousness was to turn to the TV screen and laugh fondly at Ann.
"He loved her performance the week before. His wife, Meryl, and his children very much want Ann to continue to do the show."
The former Tory MP is attempting to master the Quickstep for next week's performance.
