Lord Sugar makes 'EastEnders' appearance

Wednesday November 14, 2012

Lord Sugar has visited EastEnders' famed Albert Square on behalf of Children In Need.

The business mogul visited the home of Walford's entrepeneurs Alfie Moon and Ian Beale as part of a comedy sketch for the show. The spoof sees Lord Sugar looking to hire a new apprentice from Walford.

He said: "It's not every day you find yourself in Albert Square giving Alfie Moon and Ian Beale a piece of your mind, but it's been a really fun day, especially as it's for Children in Need, a cause that means a lot to me."

Shane, who plays Alfie in the show, said: "Doing the sketch was great, we really enjoyed it. Lord Sugar is now working out how to become a regular in The Vic and I am working out how to become a Lord."

The full sketch will be shown on Friday on Children In Need night, from 7.30pm on BBC One.
