Elizabeth Taylor is to remain in hospital for several days, her representative has confirmed.
The iconic actress was admitted on Friday to receive treatment for congestive heart failure, which she revealed she was suffering from in 2004.
Her representative said, "At this stage, with her history, they're going to want to keep her in for a while just to make sure they've fixed what they needed to fix."
The 78-year-old Oscar winner, who underwent heart surgery in 2009, is understood to be in a stable condition and is resting comfortably surrounded by her family and friends.
