Gwyneth Paltrow on snacking and weight loss

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that some of her favourite snacks are in liquid form, including coconut water and kale juice.

Talking to Self magazine, the actress said she avoids junk and drinks mainly liquids when she needs a nibble.

"Raw almonds with raisins, or coconut water, or I'll make a juice with kale, lemon juice, water, Vitamix and a little agave," she said.

"I try to avoid barbecque potato chips. They're my weakness."

The 38-year-old also admitted to indulging every now and then.

"I always eat right, but last night, I had fried clams, pasta with duck sausage and two glasses of wine," she said. 

And she shared her methods of losing weight before a big occasion: "When I want to lose weight, I eat less pasta, bread and potatoes.

"Before last year's Iron Man 2 premiere, I did green juices and salads for three days."
