The Duke of Edinburgh will attend the Trooping the Colour ceremony in honour of the Queen's official birthday, a week after leaving hospital.
In addition, Prince Philip will complete his first official engagement since being released from hospital, on Friday.
The 91-year-old – who spent six days in a London facility where he was treated for a bladder infection – will chair the Senior Colonel's Conference for his role as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards and host a dinner at Buckingham Palace.
The Duke of Edinburgh was taken to hospital after falling ill following the Diamond Jubilee Thames River Pageant where he spent four hours on a barge in adverse weather conditions.
Although he was forced to miss a number of recent engagements including the Diamond Jubilee concert and a recent trip to Nottingham with his wife Queen Elizabeth, the Duke has gone on to make a full recovery.
