As the pressure to become Sir Alan Sugar's new Apprentice increased tempers among the contestants became frayed on Wednesday when fiery redhead Paula Jones became the latest hopeful to be fired.
Project manager Paula – whose team failed in their task to create beauty and body products – decided to take stockbroker Ben Clarke (pictured) and Yasmina Siadatan to face Sir Alan in the boardroom.
And it didn’t take long for egos to clash over who was to blame. Attempts by 22-year-old stockbroker Ben - who's developing a reputation for his aggressive approach to the show – to pass all responsibility for the outcome of the task onto his team leader prompted Paula to brand him "a thug" and "a bully".
After being fired, the 29-year-old human resources consultant said she accepted mulit-millionaire Sir Alan's decision, adding she had "great fun" on the show
