Tali took home the award for 'Scottish Model of the Year' and Rankin was entered into the Scottish Hall of Fame for lifetime acheivement in fashion photography.

Of all the guests, Dame Shirley Bassey, 74, stole the show in a floor length tartan gown by Graeme Black.

Founder Tessa Hartman (also pictured) declared the night a smashing success. She said, "Tonight we have witnessed an impressive showcase of Scottish fashion talent.

"To have this sort of attendence and credibility is not only an honour for the awards ceremony, it's an honour for Scoltand and the idealistic and contemporary perception we want and need for our country to compete internationally.

"I am incredibly grateful that Samantha Cameron supports Scotland's fashion industry by her attendance as an ambassador."
