After the success of his latest album, Unconditional Love Songs, Peter Andre is seemingly branching out.
Katie Price's ex-husband is reportedly keen to take on the role of Danny Zuko in the London stage adaptation of Grease.
During a visit to the show last week, Pete told cast members he would love to join them.
And his appearance was shortly followed by a phonecall from stage bosses to his management.
"Pete has had lots of offers from musicals but Grease is one of his favourites," a friend tells the Sun.
"He loves the character of Danny and he's confident that he will be able to play him - even if only for a short stint."
The Mysterious Girl star would be joining a host of famous faces who have played Danny since the musical debuted in 1972.
Richard Gere, David Hasselhoff, Craig McLachlan and the late Patrick Swayze have all taken on the stage role which John Travolta made famous on the big screen.
The current West End show, at London's Piccadilly Theatre, features former Hear'Say singer Noel Sullivan as Danny.
