Reg Traviss, the boyfriend of the late Amy Winehouse has been sent for trial on two charges of rape.
The 35-year-old was the singer's boyfriend when she died at her home in Camden, north London, last July and spoke publicly about his loss.
British director Reg, of Devonshire Street, Marylebone, London, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court, accused of two counts of rape in the early house of December 31 last year.
District Judge Stephanie Wickham said he would face trial at Southwark Crown Court on September 12.
She renewed his bail, which has two conditions, that he may not contact the complainant in the case, or visit the Experimental Cocktail Club in Gerrard Street, Soho.
Reg, who wore a grey jacket, dark grey trousers, a white shirt and a dark tie, spoke only to give his name, address and date of birth.
