Rapper Chris Brown has begun community service in the US as part of his sentence for his assault on former girlfriend, pop star Rihanna.
Clad in an orange work vest, jeans and a baseball cap, the 20-year-old was seen clearing weeds and other debris at a police horse stables in Virginia.
It was the first day of his 180-day court ordered penalty.
Chris' schedule - including his work hours and days - will be flexible and he will perform a variety of manual labour, a Richmond Police spokesman has confirmed.
When and where he will be working is being kept secret to avoid security and logistical problems.
Last month, the Forever singer plead guilty to assault and was sentenced to five years probation and six months community service.
