Lawyers for a woman in a paternity dispute with Justin Bieber have said she has not dropped her claim, contrary to reports.
But they admitted she would continue with the process out of court and have requested a private DNA test from the teen star.
Mariah Yeater – aged 20 – claims that her four-month-old child is the result of a brief rendezvous with Justin.
Speaking to a Chicago new station, Jeffrey Leving also commented that he's concerned for the safety of his client, after she received death threats.
"She's a young 20-year-old mother who now has to worry about her safety and her child's.
"It's a lot for any woman that age to handle."
Justin and his legal team are still planning to sue for false claims.
