Mother-of-two Jessica Alba has said that keeping herself organised helps her "stay sane."
Juggling motherhood, her acting career and directing an eco-company, Jessica manages to organise her life through the help of lists.
She told People: "I am really into schedules. It helps me stay sane. You will never be perfect so just trying to take it one day at a time, do as much as you can and live in the moment."
The actress also revealed that daughter Honor, four, doesn't seem keen to follow in her mother's Hollywood footsteps.
"Honor is just running her mouth about her observations on the world, and her desire to be a doctor mermaid," said Jessica.
The actress is also keen to pass her ethical values onto her offspring.
She said: "I talk to Honor about not wasting and recycling. I talk to her about having so many things and that there are children out there who don't have what she has."
She added: "So when she is done playing with something or outgrows something, it goes to a baby who doesn't have it."
