Out of the Blue release Christmas charity single

Thursday December 18, 2014

In time for the run up to Christmas, a capella boyband Out of the Blue have released a Christmas charity single.

The all-male group of Oxford students who made headlines earlier this year for their Shakira tribute, have put their own unique spin on Christmas classic Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas is You 'mashed up' with festive favourite Santa Claus is Coming to Town in aid of local charity Helen and Douglas House.

Helen and Douglas House is a children’s hospice in Oxford that cares for children and young adults with life limiting illnesses. The single is currently being sold alongside the video and all the proceeds with all procedes going to the cause.

The Britain's Got Talent 2011 semi-finalists posted their song to YouTube on Sunday, with it's accompanying video garnering 12,000 views in the first 24 hours. Below the video is a message encouraging donations to the hospice.

You can watch their cheeky Christmas video here.
