Nicole Kidman has offered her advice to budding actresses, telling them that they will need commitment and dedication.
"Work on your craft. Be willing to put the time and the work in, and learn to be incredibly disciplined emotionally and physically, and if you want to be in it for the long run, then you have to be dedicated to the art form of it," she said at a special screening for her new film Stoker in London.
Nicole plays widow Evelyn Stoker in the horror thriller, with Mia Wasikowska as her screen daughter India, and Matthew Goode as the mysterious Uncle Charlie.
She admitted that the filming days were quite easy for her, saying: "Luckily for me, this was a supporting role so I wasn't on set every day like Mia and Matthew, who were working every day. I had a lot of downtime, which was part of the appeal as well, and we shot it in my hometown of Nashville."
Mia revealed that having Nicole as her screen mum was "pretty great."
"She's such a legendary actress and has always been a role model for me so to be able to play her daughter was something I didn't ever foresee as a possibility." she said.
