Engelbert Humperdinck will sing a "soaring ballad" at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in a performance staged by celebrity choreographer Arlene Phillips, it has been announced.
The 75-year-old crooner will be accompanied on stage by guitarist James Bryan, who is known for his performances with Nelly Furtado.
Engelbert was unveiled earlier this month as the surprise choice to represent the UK.
"I have my eyes on the prize with my song, Love Will Set You Free," said the veteran performer, who was born in Madras, in pre-Fifties British India.
"I'm very proud of the song and with the nation behind me, I feel ready and look forward to the rollercoaster ride that is Eurovision!"
BBC creative director of entertainment Derek McLean described the song as "a soaring ballad that has been crafted by some of the best people in music".
