Footballers, fans and celebrities alike have been tweeting their well wishes, thoughts and prayers for footballer Fabrice Muamba after he suffered a heart attack during a match.
Fabrice Muamba, 23, was playing for Bolton against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday when he suddenly collapsed on the pitch, with no other players around him.
The game was immediately stopped, and medics ran on to resuscitate the young player.
Doctors at the London Chest Hospital, where the star is being treated, have said the next 24 hours are critical.
Twitter has been swarmed with messages of support for Fabrice since the incident.
Wayne Rooney tweeted: "Hope fabrice muamba is ok. Praying for him and his family. Still in shock."
Friend and Tottenham player Jermain Defoe said: "Pray for fab god willing he will pull through #PrayForMuamba"
Football legend Gary Linker also tweeted his support to Fabrice.
"Critically ill in intensive care reads joint statement from Bolton Wanderers FC and hospital. Hang in there young man," he wrote.
