Ben Affleck could be directing a film about the Battle of Bunker Hill.
The Oscar-winning actor-director is said to be one of the names considered to direct the big-screen adaptation of Nathaniel Philbrick's upcoming book, Bunker Hill: A City, A Siege, A Revolution, reported Deadline.
Warner Bros has reportedly "closed" a deal to turn it into a film, and Ben is expected to send the book to his Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio to look at it.
The book tells the story of the battle between American colonists and British troops that united the colonies in their war for independence in June 1775, which took place during the Siege of Boston.
The star, 40, - last seen in Terrence Malick's To The Wonder - will next be seen in crime drama Runner, alongside Justin Timberlake and Gemma Arterton.
