Burmese Democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi has met one of her biggest fans – U2 frontman Bono.
The Irish superstar admitted he was "startstuck" after meeting the 67-year-old, and welcoming her to Dublin for a concert in her honour.
Bono has long supported Mrs Suu Kyi's freedom struggle in Burma, where she spent 15 years under house arrest.
He even dedicated his song Walk On to her.
On Monday night Mother Suu – as she known to her followers – was called to the stage after a three hour concert to collect an Amnesty International award.
"This has come as a surprise to me, and a very moving one," said the freedom fighter.
