Scottish singer Rod Stewart is being sued by his own lawyers who claim the star has failed to pay his legal bills.
The lawsuit, filed by Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs, Howard & Shapiro - one of the biggest entertainment law firms - states that Rod owes them for work on three cases.
One involves the singer's decision to cancel a show in Las Vegas in December 2000 while he recovered from cancer treatment.
A federal jury ruled that Stewart owed the hotel £1.7 million for cancelling the show.
A spokesman for the father-of-three, who has an estimated fortune of £100 million, has declined to comment.
