Eva Mendes has launched her first clothing line with the help of New York and Company. The vintage-inspired collection is designed to be “modern and feminine”.
The pieces will be available in sizes zero to 18 aiming to fit all shapes and sizes. The clothing-set consists of pretty dresses, pussy-bow blouses and printed trousers and is aimed to dress “real women”.
The Place Beyond the Pines beauty admitted to loving "a bargain" and said she used her own wardrobe to inspire the outfits for the line: "I’m always shopping at thrift shops I'll go and buy a $6 dress, then I'll get a coffee, and there's always women who are like, "Where can I get your dress?"
The 39-year-old actress says her main goal for her new venture is to provide simple yet sophisticated clothing for everyday women, that they can look and feel good wearing.
