A ten-year old girl is the proud designer of the Queen's official 2012 Diamond Jubilee emblem, following a nationwide competition.
Katherine Dewar from Chester won the contest which was run by BBC children's programme Blue Peter.
Her design was chosen from 35,000 entries and features a crown poised above the Union Jack alongside columns of diamonds.
Katherine said she was "really excited" that her design – which will appear on everything from posters to commemorative tea cups – is being used.
"I'm looking forward to seeing people waving flags with my design on to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee," she said.
Katherine and her winning entry feature on Blue Peter on Monday February 21 on BBC One.
