Singer Lily Allen was overwhelmed as she scooped three prizes at the Ivor Novello Awards on Thursday.
Recognised for her inspiring songwriting in The Fear, the 25-year-old broke down in tears as she gave her acceptance speech.
"Thank you, I'm trying so hard to hold it together," she said as she wiped away tears.
"This song is so much about feeling so lost... it has made me feel quite found all of a sudden."
Lily was awarded gongs for the most performed work, the best song musically and lyrically, and songwriter of the year.
