David Witts has been announced as the tenth cast member to leave EastEnders.
A spokesman for the BBC show confirmed the news on Sunday, saying, "David is leaving EastEnders later this year and we wish him all the best for the future."
The 22-year-old actor, who stars as Joey Branning, arrived in Walford last summer.
He is already said to be filming his departure from the show, which will be aired at Christmas.
EastEnders has recently undergone a big transformation under the helm of new boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins.
Since his arrival, a number of familiar faces have confirmed their exit from the soap - although it was recently revealed that Natalie Cassidy is returning to reprise her role as Sonia Fowler.
Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright are also set to join the cast this Christmas as the new landlord and lady of the Queen Vic.
