Fans looking to follow in the footsteps of Sir Elton John may well now have their chance.
Known as much for his extravagant outfits as his catchy tunes, the kind-hearted star has agreed to put over 100 pairs of his shoes under the hammer for charity.
With prices ranging from £20 to £1,000, the items will help raise money for Brighton's Sussex Beacon HIV charity.
Elton's long-term partner David Furnish is clearing out his closet for a good cause too. The couple have also donated clothing by designers Alexander McQueen and Chanel.
"We're incredibly grateful for this spectacular donation," says an organiser for the auction, which is due to take place on April 2.
