The Queen and Prince Philip will attending the opening of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games at Celtic Park on Wednesday.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as the Earl and Countess of Wessex will also be attending the ceremony, where the Queen will officially open the games by reading a message contained in the baton which has been carried by fans in a 10-month relay across the Commonwealth.
Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle carried the baton on Monday, ahead of her performance at the opening ceremony on Wednesday. Other performers will also include Rod Stewart, Amy MacDonald and violinist Nicola Benedetti.
More than 4,500 athletes will compete at the event across 17 sports, from Thursday until the closing ceremony on 3 August.
