British stars to light up Toronto Film Festival

Colin Firth, Keira Knightley and Riz Ahmed are among the British stars jetting to the 37th Toronto International Film Festival. 

Colin is promoting his new film Arthur Newman, which also stars Emily Blunt, whilst Keira will be there for period drama Anna Karenina with Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jude Law.

Former Harry Potter star Emma Watson will be talking about her role in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, whilst Riz and co-star Kate Hudson will light up the red carpet for Mira Nair's The Reluctant Fundamentalist.

The star studded event also expects to see Oscar winners Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Robert De Niro and Robert Redford as well as Ryan Gosling, Johnny DeppJennifer ConnellyGwyneth Paltrow and Will Smith, amongst others.

Opening the festival is Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's film Looper, whilst Paul Andrew Williams' Song For Marion, starring Vanessa Redgrave and Gemma Arterton, will close the event.

The ten-day festival runs from September 6 - 16.
