Keisha Buchanan, the only original member of hit girl group the Sugababes, has left the band.
On Monday, the 24-year-old singer (far right) posted messages on her Twitter page sharing the news and adding it was not her decision to walk away.
"Dear friends, I'm sad to say I am no longer a part of the Sugababes," Keisha, who was in the band since it was founded in 1998, wrote in her first message.
"Although it was not my choice to leave, its time to enter a new chapter in my life…I have nothing but positive things to say about the girls and I wish them the best of luck."
Keisha, who is going on to pursue a solo career, will be replaced by Jade Ewen, who joins the current line-up - Heidi Range - centre - and Amelle Berrabah.
She has dispelled any reports of a rift with her band mates writing: "I would like to state that there were no arguments, bullying to anything of the sort that lead to this."
"Sometimes a break down in communication and lack of trust can result in many different things."
The news has also been confirmed on the Sugababes official website.
It is the third line-up change for the band, who release their new album Sweet 7 in November.
