Cyclist Lance Armstrong has been stripped of all of his medals and titles.
The seven times Tour de France winner has been removed off all of his honours from 1998 onwards after it was discovered that he used extensive doping to improve his performance and win titles.
President of the cycling union UCI Pat McQuaid said: "Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling. He deserves to be forgotten."
It has been reported that Lance took the performance enhancing drugs as well as other measures for his entire career, and has been described by the body as "the most sophisticated, professionalised and successful doping programme that sport has ever seen."
