Ethan Hawke has hinted that he could be reuniting with director Richard Linklater and actress Julie Delpy for a third Before Sunrise film.
The 41-year-old starred alongside French actress Julie in the 1995 romantic drama, which later spurned a sequel Before Sunset nine years later in 2004.
According to French magazine Allocine, Ethan reportedly said: "Well, I don't know what we're going to do but I know the three of us have been talking a lot in the last six months.
"All of three of us have been having similar feelings that we're ready to revisit those characters.
"There's nine years between the first two movies and, if we made the film next summer, it would be nine years again so we've really started thinking that would be a good thing to do.
"We're going to try write it this year," he added.
The collaboration would mark Ethan and Richard's seventh team-up, following their work on Waking Life, Tape, The Newton Boys, Fast Food Nation, the long-developing drama Boyhood and the two Before instalments.
Ethan, who last appeared in police thriller Brooklyn's Finest, has completed filming the Total Recall remake while Julie has been busy with two French language films, Le Skylab and Les Passages.
