Grieving Hollywood star John Travolta flew from Australia to Tahiti where he spent the weekend alone in a luxury hotel. The 55-year-old, whose 16-year-old son Jett died in January, made the solo trip after spending three days in Melbourne with his wife Kelly Preston and their nine-year-old daughter Ella Bleu.
John's Polynesian respite came four days after what would have been Jett's 17th birthday. The star - pictured in character for a film role - apparently spent the whole weekend in his room and told the hotel manager he didn't want to see anyone. He only wanted to rest, reports US publication People.
