Apprentice winner Yasmina Siadatan has announced that she's expecting - just a year after winning a coveted job with Sir Alan Sugar.
The former restaurateur – who won a reputation as an Alpha female in the last series – is pregnant by her new boyfriend and former colleague Andrew Hepburn.
Their relationship began weeks into her taking up the £100,000-a-year position.
The pregnancy has caused comment because her boss Sir Alan previously spoke out about what he saw as excessive maternity benefits for working mothers.
But a company spokesman has said that he "is pleased for Yasmina and very supportive".
"He looks forward to welcoming her back when she is ready."
Celebrity mums with lucrative jobs such as Natasha Kaplinsky – who had two pregnancies within a short space of time – have put the topic at the top of the news agenda.
