Michael Jackson's nephew named kids' co-guardian

Thursday August 23, 2012

Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff has ruled that Michael Jackson's nephew will share guardianship responsibilities for the singer's three children.

TJ, whose father is Tito Jackson, was named as the co-guardian of the children, who range in age from 10 to 15.

He will share responsibilities with the King of Pop's mother, Katherine, who has cared for the children since the singer's death at the age of 50 three years ago.

According to court filings, TJ, 34,  has remained close to his cousins, Prince, Paris and Blanket, who live in a hilltop home in Calabasas, since their father's death.

He had been appointed a temporary guardian in July when Mrs Jackson was thought to be missing for several days.

TJ is also a musician and performs with his brothers in the band 3T.
