Junior style leader Peaches Geldof has said comparisons with her mother, TV presenter Paula Yates, who died in 2000 of a drugs overdose, are wide of the mark.
The 20-year-old, a regular on the London social scene, said: "You can’t compare partying to someone with serious problems like that.
"But by all means compare my TV presenting and writing to hers."
Her plea comes in Fearne And... Peaches Geldof, a documentary for ITV2 due to be screened next Wednesday.
Despite her late mum's problems with addiction, Peaches - who was 11 at the time of the tragedy - paid tribute to her charisma.
"She was like a light bulb who would light up anywhere.
She had this quality so different to anyone else, it was a magnetic thing".
