Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne has reportedly told friends that she's ready to join the line-up of celebrity contestants on the next edition of Strictly Come Dancing and will sign a contract in weeks.
In the past the TV personality has admitted she's desperate to be on the popular dance programme. "Hopefully next year I can do it," she said at the 2008 Edinburgh TV Festival.
The signing would pit the 56-year-old against her former boss Simon Cowell, whose Saturday night talent show regularly beat the dance competition in the battle for ratings.
Sharon ended her stint on X Factor after four successful series and was replaced by Cheryl Cole, who proved hugely popular with viewers.
