Residents in a Somerset village must have thought they should be so lucky when a poster appeared announcing a gig by Kylie Minogue.
But their eyes weren't deceiving them.
The pop siren did, in fact, perform a set featuring songs from her new album Aphrodite in Compton Martin, where the boss of her record company lives.
"It was all quite surreal, to be honest. It's not the sort of thing you expect to see in a quiet local pub like this," said landlady Lauren Goddard.
She managed to keep the concert a secret - despite knowing seven months in advance that the singer would be appearing at the unlikely venue
"We were sworn to secrecy and didn't even tell the staff until 30 minutes before the doors opened".
