Ryan Reynolds celebrated turning 37 by being immortalised in wax.
On seeing the wax figure of himself, the Green Lantern star said: "Thank you to everyone at Madame Tussauds Hollywood for their hard work and talent."
He added: "This is undoubtedly the largest and most spectacular birthday candle I've ever received."
Sculptors at the famous wax museums revealed it took almost 300 pounds of clay and a team of 20 artists to create the look-a-like.
For the unveiling of the new creation the Canadian actor wore a three piece tweed suit almost identical to the one designed for the wax model.
Ryan also took the opportunity to thank his fans, as this was the first time Madame Tussaurds had asked the public which star they would like to see created.
