Five years after leaving his post as presenter of the prestigious Bafta awards, British favourite Stephen Fry may be making a return.
The 52-year-old is reportedly being wooed by producers to reprise his role and replace current host Jonathan Ross.
"The feeling is that Stephen was the ideal host and had the perfect image for such an historic event," a source says.
"The hope is that Stephen can be persuaded to come back next year. The awards really aren't the same without him."
Whether the QI star accepts the proposition or not, Jonathan will be replaced next year after his contract with the BBC comes to an end.
