Lily Allen looked every inch the rock chick as she picked up a trophy at the Shockwaves NME Awards this week.
The 24-year-old chose a vintage-style cream dress and heavy eye make-up to wear to the music bash – where she won the Giving It Back Fan award.
Kind-hearted Lily last year organised a Twitter treasure hunt, leaving clues for her supporters to find hidden free tickets to her tour shows, for which she was recognised at the London event.
Despite being honoured by the music world, the songstress has her sights set on a different industry – fashion.
Lily, who was picked by Karl Lagerfeld to star in a Chanel campaign, revealed to Sky News that she is starting a project with Wayne Hemingway.
She is helping the English designer launch a fashion and music festival called Vintage at Goodwood.
It is taking place in August and will focus on how music and fashion have influenced one another from the 1940s through to the Sixties.
The brunette is also opening a shop, called Lucy in Disguise, with her sister, Sarah Owen, and the pair are looking for a central London location.
"I'm helping out Wayne with this first of all and then I'm opening up a shop with my sister and a couple of other people and I'm really busy," she said.
"I'm in the office every day, sourcing clothes and getting really excited about my new venture."
