She sparked rumours that she would be replacing Cheryl Cole on the X Factor judging panel after slipping up on radio earlier this month.
But now reports have emerged that Mel B is actually set to take a place on the Australian version of the hit show.
According to Australia's Daily Telegraph, the former Spice Girl has been asked to join Ronan Keating, Guy Sebastian and possible judge Natalie Bassingthwaite on the reality TV series.
The rumours were fuelled even further when the 35-year-old took to Twitter to ask Dannii Minogue – who is a judge on the UK version of the show - for some advice.
"Hey there. Need your help with something on something," she tweeted.
Seven Network, the channel that airs the show, is expected to make the announcement within the next few days.
