Lawyers representing Michael Douglas and his former wife Diandra Douglas have clashed over whether she's entitled to earnings from his film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
Her lawyer argued in a New York court that their divorce agreement granted Diandra a share in proceeds from spin-offs to the actor's work while they were together.
She is seeking half of the profits from the new film because he reprises the role of Gordon Gekko from the 1987 original.
But Marilyn Chinitz, the 65-year-old’s lawyer, said: “When does it stop?
"Diandra Douglas calls herself Mrs Douglas but she’s not Mrs Michael Douglas.”
The movie star – who is now married to Welsh actress Catherine Zeta Jones (picutred) – has refused an offer by his ex to postpone the case, while he's treated for a throat tumour.
Diandra, 51, the mother of his jailed son, Cameron, was married to Michael for 23 years until 2000.
